Treehouse Finance, a DeFi (decentralized finance) company, has raised US$18 million funding in its Seed round led by an undisclosed large FinTech investor along with participation from strategic investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Mirana Ventures, Binance, Global Founders Capital, MassMutual Ventures, Jump Capital, Wintermute, GSR, Do Kown of Terrafarm Labs, senior executives from SoftBank Vision Fund among others.

David Toh from Mirana Ventures, Venture Partner of Bybit and BitDAO, said, “As an early supporter and investor of Treehouse, we are excited by the growth of the company and what the team has achieved in a short time. We believe in backing builders who have the grit to challenge the status quo and launch differentiated and innovative products in DeFi.”

“We are grateful to have with us a group of partners with such deep technical expertise and networks across both cryptocurrency and traditional finance ecosystems. This funding round will enable us to execute on our vision to help users confidently navigate DeFi,” said Brandon Goh, CEO of Treehouse.

Treehouse will be using the fresh funds to improve its flagship product Harvest, boost the company’s community building, in-house research, and hire global talent.

Dominic Chrumka, from Wintermute said, “Wintermute is proud to be supporting Treehouse in their mission to make the management of DeFi portfolios easy and meaningful. Their cross-chain dashboards and comprehensive analytics, especially the ability to track P&L attributed to pools in which you are providing liquidity, are game-changing for the industry.”

About Treehouse Finance

Founded in 2021 by Brandon Goh and Kang Yiao Loh, Treehouse Finance is a Web3 company that transforms on-chain data into meaningful metrics to help decentralized finance (DeFi) investors make informed financial decisions.

Treehouse Finance is building an infrastructure required to enable everyday people to completely connect financial products and services made possible by DeFi. The company’s ecosystem of products will empower and shape the way participants interact with the DeFi economy.

Harvest, the flagship product of the company, indexes blockchains and provides historical data, risk metrics, and profit and loss on its user interface. It helps the users to understand their DeFi positions and risks so that they can make informed decisions.

Since its inception, Treehouse has grown significantly to more than 100 people and has launched Harvest Beta.
