Thailand’s Ampverse Acquires Singapore’s Championify for Gaming Tech Innovation

Ampverse, a prominent gaming community and intellectual property ecosystem, has acquired Singapore-based gaming startup Championify. The acquisition will see Championify’s assets being integrated into Ampverse Labs, pushing the development of in-house products and services.

Championify brings valuable technology and intellectual property assets, including its proprietary gamification platform, a reward system, and a gaming product marketplace.

Founded by industry veterans Zad Ngor and Saurabh Sharma, who previously held roles at tech giants like Google and Grab, Championfy has emerged as a pioneering force in gaming technology. 

Zad Ngor Yan Da, the founder of Championify, expressed his thoughts on joining forces with Ampverse, where he highlighted the collaborative potential for innovative products and services that have the potential to reshape the gaming landscape. 

Jochum, Ampverse’s director of Web3 and Ampverse Labs, stated the shared vision of uniting brands with communities and evolving game-tech solutions across Southeast Asia and India. 

“The amalgamation of Ampverse and Championfy marks a pivotal moment in our journey. With Championfy’s impressive track record of collaborations with esteemed brands such as Razer and Samsung, we are poised to harness their technological prowess to fuel our mission of redefining game-tech solutions in the region,” Sascha Jochum said in a recent interview. 

Saurabh Sharma, Co-founder of Championfy, expressed his views, stating, “We are thrilled to become an integral part of Ampverse, and you can expect this collaboration to result in innovative products and services that will disrupt the gaming landscape. We share the same vision to connect brands with communities across Southeast Asia and India through immersive experiences and fostering meaningful connections.”

The integration of Championfy’s valuable assets into Ampverse Labs is expected to accelerate the creation of in-house products and services, further solidifying Ampverse’s role as a frontrunner in the industry. Ampverse Labs aims to develop data-driven game-tech solutions designed to bridge the divide between brands and their target audiences within the dynamic gaming landscapes of Southeast Asia and India. 

The gaming landscape continues evolving, with enormous potential within the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, the world’s largest gaming market. With total revenues projected to surpass USD 84 billion in 2022. 

Thailand‘s Ampverse Labs has focused on solutions like an interactive quest tool and a dynamic gamification platform geared toward gaining first-party data through advanced technology.
