In the recent ceremony held at the Ministry of Digital Technologies in Uzbekistan, the prestigious “President Tech Award” competition celebrated its winners, recognizing the most advanced startup projects in the country. Mentalaba.uz, a disruptive project focusing on revolutionizing education in Uzbekistan, secured the top spot in the category of “Information technologies in the social sphere.”
During the competition, Mentalaba showcased a diverse array of ideas and innovations, including the latest trends in the technological landscape. The expert jury rigorously evaluated the project, considering their potential for implementation and real-world impact.
The competition awards included a total prize of $1,000,000, making it one of the largest competitions in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov presided over the event, where winning teams were awarded substantial prizes – USD 100,000 for first place, USD 50,000 for second, and USD 30,000 for third place.
Expressing gratitude for the achievement, Mentalaba.uz highlighted the collective effort of its team, users, and supporters. The project aims to contribute significantly to educational reforms in Uzbekistan by creating new opportunities for applicants and parents, boosting rapid development in higher education, and attracting students suited for higher education institutions.
