Bridgewise, an AI-based platform for analyzing global securities, has concluded a $21 million funding round led by SIX Group, with additional support from Group11, L4 Venture Builder, and other major financial institutions. This funding round brings Bridgewise’s total raised capital to $35 million.
With its recent establishment of the Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore and the appointment of Kelvin Phua as Asia Pacific General Manager, Bridgewise aims to develop tailored solutions for customers across Asia Pacific, including markets like Hong Kong, India, Japan, and Singapore.
The startup is a rapidly expanding provider of AI-driven investment analysis and caters to a wide array of clients, including exchanges, banks, trading platforms, investment houses, wealth advisors, and financial media and education platforms.
The company offers a suite of products tailored to the requirements of financial institutions, featuring AI-generated reports, analyses of diverse financial instruments, and personalized robo-advisory services.
Gaby Diamant, the CEO of Bridgewise, expressed that securing this funding will help the company’s mission to bridge the gap in knowledge and accessibility across global capital markets.
The Bridgewise platform offers a comprehensive suite of products tailored to meet the requirements of leading financial institutions and service providers. These include detailed AI-generated reports, on-demand analysis of financial instruments, a natural-language AI conversational chatbot named Bridget, and a robo advisor that offers personalized recommendations based on users’ existing portfolios.
Bridgewise analyzes fundamental data on over 90% of listed global securities, providing investment recommendations—a unique and regulated feature approved in the markets where it operates.
Bridgewise’s core technology relies on two main components. Firstly, it utilizes a machine learning algorithm trained on over two decades of historical data, analyzing more than 50,000 listed securities to assign each one a performance score. Secondly, it employs a generative AI powered by a proprietary Micro Language Model (MLM) to produce easily comprehensible reports for each security in the reader’s preferred language.
The financial research technology firm empowers both institutional and retail investors across 15 countries and in over 22 languages, serving more than 50 institutional clients. Leveraging its proprietary generative AI-based platform, the company has conducted over 10 million analyses, offering comprehensive insights into global stocks and securities.
Established in 2019, Bridgewise bridges the knowledge gap in the investment landscape, democratizing access to financial market information. Their platform provides easily understandable and comprehensive equity research, a service previously limited to major financial institutions.
Bridgewise’s unbiased analysis, scoring, and research can seamlessly integrate into brokerage platforms and other financial institutions’ infrastructures. It provides instant analysis of global stocks and bespoke investment strategies, thereby enabling informed investment decisions for investors worldwide.
