Online shopping is now made easier with the recent partnership of BillEase, a buy now, pay later (BNPL) and consumer finance app in the Philippines, and HitPay.

The partnership will also allow local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to offer more convenient and card-free installment options to its customers upon checkout.

“We are excited to play a part in promoting a cash-lite economy through digital solutions like HitPay. This partnership highlights our shared values of providing flexible and transparent POS financing for retailers and their customers. With HitPay, BillEase can offer inclusive options for retailers, especially SMEs, to help them grow and thrive,” Georg Steiger, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of BillEase, said.

Aditya Haripurkar, HitPay CEO and Co-founder shared that she is happy with the partnership with BillEase because this will empower SMEs through the use of easy, accessible digital payment options.

This partnership, Haripurkar adds, will allow their company to continue to support the unique needs of the merchants and build the “best payment gateway” for small businesses.

HitPay empowers SMEs to grow their business on any online and offline sales channel. Using a free account on HitPay, SMEs can access a full range of payment methods and payment infrastructure.

And unlike the other commerce platforms, HitPay provides business software like website builder, in-app pos system, no-code e-commerce plugins, and an invoice generator without having to collect any setup or subscription fees.

To date, HitPay’s one-stop platform is being used by thousands of merchants. HitPay helps them expand their business and receive digital payments with ease.

HitPay was officially launched in the Philippines in 2022 and was registered as an Operator of Payment System (OPS) under the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

BillEase, on the other hand, is an on-demand consumer credit app that offers personal loans, e-wallet top-ups, gaming credits, mobile load purchases, bills payment, as well as customizable BNPL. It allows its customers to avail of installment plans even in the absence of a debit or credit card.

With the help of BillEase, online and offline retailers can now offer their shoppers three installment options at checkout: Pay Later in 10 or 20 days and Pay in 4 installments for small-to-medium ticket purchases, and Pay Monthly over three, six, nine, or 12 months for big purchases with interest rates between 0% or 3.49%.
