India-based digital media and lifestyle content platform ScoopWhoop has been acquired by the content-to-commerce company, The Good Glamm Group for an undisclosed sum.
The group is presently “building and buying male grooming brands” as per reports. With ScoopWhoop’s user base being more than 60 percent male, this acquisition fits into the group’s vision of investing US$66 million (Rs500 crores) in the men’s category over the next three years.
Founders of ScoopWhoop, Rishi Pritam Mukherjee, Sriparna Tikekar, and Sattvik Mishra will continue to lead the business and will work closely with the co-founders of the Glamm Group. According to company sources, ScoopWhoop will continue to work as an independent brand and media house within the group umbrella.

With this acquisition, the Glamm Group now boasts of the largest digital reach for an ecommerce company in the country. It has more than 150 million users through its media division which includes India’s biggest digital media brands- POPxo and now ScoopWhoop.

He added that, existing investor of ScoopWhoop, Kalaari Capital will reinvest in Good Glamm Group.
Founded in 2017, MyGlamm consolidated all its businesses and introduced Good Glamm Group. The company uses a combination of technology, content, and social media to allow consumers to discover its products that include beauty and personal care.
The company is presently on a buying spree and is aiming to buy four more brands by March 2022 and is hoping to go public in 2023.
