AsiaTechDaily – Asia's Leading Tech and Startup Media Platform
For decades, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms have helped businesses organize contacts, track opportunities, and forecast revenue. Yet despite the sophistication of modern CRM software, one critical gap continues to exist at the very beginning of the sales journey. Before a lead is entered into a CRM, it often exists as a business card exchanged at an exhibition, a handwritten note from a networking event, or a conversation that never makes it into the sales pipeline.
The challenge has become increasingly relevant as businesses return to in-person events and trade shows across Asia. Industry analysts estimate that the global event technology market will continue its rapid expansion in the coming years as organizations seek better ways to measure event ROI, automate lead management, and connect offline engagement with digital sales processes. At the same time, artificial intelligence is transforming enterprise software from systems that simply record information into platforms that actively assist decision-making and workflow automation.
To better understand how enterprise sales is evolving in the age of AI, AsiaTechDaily spoke with Ravindraa Thakre, Founder and CEO of Eynthra Solution. Drawing on his experience working with startups, enterprises, and exhibitors across India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, Thakre shared his perspective on why post-event follow-up remains one of the biggest challenges in B2B sales, how AI is changing lead management, and why the future of enterprise sales may depend less on generating more leads and more on converting conversations into measurable business outcomes.
Eynthra Solution, an India-based AI software company, is building on a premise that many traditional CRM platforms have historically overlooked: the most important stage of enterprise sales often begins before a lead ever reaches the CRM.
Most CRM platforms assume that customer information has already been captured accurately and entered into the system. In reality, many business opportunities begin in far less structured environments. Trade exhibitions, conferences, networking sessions, field sales visits, and product launches generate hundreds of conversations in just a few hours. While these interactions represent potential revenue, they frequently rely on manual processes involving business cards, notebooks, spreadsheets, or delayed data entry once the event concludes.
Speaking with AsiaTechDaily, Ravindraa Thakre said this disconnect became the inspiration behind the company’s product strategy:
“One of the biggest lessons I have learned over the past decade is that businesses rarely struggle to generate conversations. They struggle to convert those conversations into meaningful business relationships.
While attending exhibitions and technology events across India and internationally, I noticed the same pattern repeating itself. Sales teams would spend days preparing their booths, meeting hundreds of potential customers, exchanging business cards, and building promising connections. Yet once the event ended, the excitement quickly turned into administrative work. Business cards were collected in stacks, notes were scattered across notebooks, and follow-up depended entirely on how quickly someone could manually organize everything.
That is where opportunities quietly disappear. Traditional CRM platforms are excellent at managing existing customer relationships, but they generally assume that someone has already captured and entered the lead into the system. The reality at exhibitions is very different. The first challenge is not managing the customer. It is ensuring that valuable conversations become structured opportunities before they are forgotten. That realization became the foundation of Eynthra Solution.”
Instead of competing directly with established CRM providers, the company has positioned its platform around the earliest stage of enterprise sales, where lead capture, organization, and follow-up often determine whether an initial conversation becomes a qualified business opportunity.
Artificial intelligence has already become embedded across enterprise software, from automated email generation and customer support to sales forecasting and predictive analytics. Increasingly, however, AI is also moving upstream into the first moments of customer engagement. This shift reflects a broader evolution in enterprise technology. Organizations are no longer looking only for systems that manage existing pipelines. They are investing in platforms that reduce administrative work, accelerate response times, and preserve customer context from the very first interaction.
For Eynthra Solution, AI serves as the operational layer connecting offline conversations with digital workflows. Its platform combines AI-powered business card scanning, workflow automation, lead assignment, communication history, follow-up reminders, analytics, and pipeline management to reduce the manual effort typically associated with exhibitions and business events. However, Thakre believes technology should remain largely invisible to the user:
“When a business card is scanned, our AI-powered workflow extracts the relevant information and organizes it into a structured CRM record. The objective is not simply to recognize text. It is to help sales teams move from collecting contacts to taking action as quickly as possible.
Once the lead is created, the platform prepares it for the next stages of the sales workflow, including lead assignment, follow-up activities, communication history, and pipeline management. This allows sales professionals to continue engaging with visitors while administrative work happens in the background.
One of our design principles has always been simplicity. A salesperson attending an exhibition should never feel that technology is slowing them down. Every interaction with the platform should help them return to the customer conversation faster.
Ultimately, the value of AI is not measured by how much technology is involved. It is measured by how much unnecessary work it removes from a person’s day.”
The comments reflect a growing trend across enterprise AI, where success is increasingly measured not by the visibility of artificial intelligence itself but by its ability to streamline existing workflows without disrupting how employees work.
Business exhibitions have traditionally been viewed as marketing activities focused on brand visibility and networking. Increasingly, however, organizations are treating them as measurable revenue channels.
Sales teams now expect real-time visibility into lead quality, visitor engagement, conversion potential, and team performance while events are still taking place, rather than after they conclude.
Drawing on Eynthra Solution’s participation in international technology events, including GITEX AI Asia in Singapore, Thakre said many exhibitors shared remarkably similar operational challenges:
“One of the most valuable aspects of participating in international technology events is that you get to observe how businesses from different industries approach the same challenge. Whether the exhibitor is an AI startup, a software company, a manufacturing business, or a service provider, the post-event workflow often looks remarkably similar.
Everyone works incredibly hard during the exhibition. Teams spend months preparing their products, marketing material, demonstrations, and customer meetings. Yet once the exhibition ends, they return with hundreds of conversations and very little structure around how those conversations should be managed.
Several AI and software companies we interacted with shared a common challenge. They generated a large number of meaningful discussions during previous events but struggled to follow up consistently because everything depended on manual processes. Sales teams were busy travelling back, catching up on regular work, and organizing notes collected throughout the exhibition. By the time follow-up started, many opportunities had already cooled.
That reinforced something we had believed from the beginning. The problem is rarely lead generation. The problem is maintaining momentum after the conversation.”
He added that exhibitors are increasingly seeking more than digital contact lists:
“Another interesting observation was that exhibitors wanted more than just contact management. They wanted visibility into their event performance while the event was still happening.
Questions like: Which industries are visiting our booth? Which conversations are most promising? Which sales representative is capturing the most qualified opportunities? What should we improve tomorrow?
Those conversations confirmed that event technology is evolving beyond simple lead collection. Businesses increasingly expect intelligent insights that help them make better decisions during the event rather than after it has already finished.”
This reflects a broader shift in enterprise software, where AI is being applied not only to automate administrative tasks but also to generate operational insights that improve decision-making in real time.
Although AI plays a central role in Eynthra Solution’s platform, Thakre repeatedly emphasized that the company’s long-term vision is centered on strengthening human relationships rather than replacing them.
That philosophy extends beyond automation into the broader role enterprise software should play in supporting business development:
“When I think about the future of Eynthtra Solution, I don’t begin with features. I begin with the people who use them. Our vision has always been to help businesses spend less time managing processes and more time building relationships.
Artificial Intelligence is transforming every industry, but I believe its greatest impact will not come from replacing people. It will come from enabling people to work more intelligently, make better decisions faster, and remove repetitive tasks that limit productivity.
Over the next 12 to 18 months, our focus is on expanding Eynthtra CRM into a complete AI-powered sales workflow platform. We are enhancing the platform with capabilities that simplify the entire customer journey, from lead capture at exhibitions to qualification, follow-up, team collaboration, communication, and sales tracking.
Ultimately, I don’t want Eynthtra CRM to become just another CRM platform. I want it to become the operating system that helps businesses maximize every meaningful business interaction.”
The evolution of enterprise CRM increasingly reflects a broader change in how businesses approach sales technology. Rather than viewing CRM as a repository for customer records, organizations are beginning to see it as part of a larger workflow that starts long before customer data is formally entered into a database. This shift creates opportunities for specialized platforms that solve workflow challenges traditional CRM systems were never designed to address.
For Eynthra Solution, that opportunity lies in helping organizations preserve the value of business conversations before they become lost in manual processes. As AI becomes more deeply embedded into enterprise software, the competitive advantage may no longer come from simply managing customer relationships, but from ensuring that every meaningful interaction has the opportunity to become one. In that sense, the future of enterprise sales may begin not inside the CRM itself, but at the very moment a conversation starts.
