SanchiConnect, a network dedicated to advancing DeepTech, has joined forces with YourNest Venture Capital to allocate INR 48 crore (around $6 million) to support eight startups through its Velocity Accelerator Program.
Recognized as the largest DeepTech funding initiative of 2024, this program reinforces Velocity’s reputation as India’s leading accelerator for cutting-edge technologies and innovations.
The seven-month-long Velocity Accelerator Program attracted 1,280 applications from across 23 states and six Union Territories, reflecting its broad national presence and appeal. Following a rigorous evaluation process, eight startups were selected for their transformative potential in areas including artificial intelligence, enterprise solutions, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and agriculture.
Among the selected startups, Induz harnesses AI tools to streamline and unify large-scale enterprise data, while LeanWorx provides cloud-based systems for monitoring manufacturing productivity. Think Metal has introduced a compact, cost-effective 3D metal printer capable of delivering production speeds 10 times faster at half the cost. Presage Insights employs advanced AI-driven predictive analytics to enhance decision-making across various industries.
Superfone, an app-based business phone number platform, integrates telephony with business software for small and medium businesses. CargoFL utilizes AI-powered solutions to optimize supply chains and enhance operational efficiency. These startups and two other trailblazers represent a diverse cohort driving innovation across India’s DeepTech landscape.
In addition to funding, the program offers comprehensive support, including expert mentorship, go-to-market strategies, and access to key industry leaders. A highlight of the program is a four-day immersive boot camp held at IIT Kanpur’s Noida Campus. This boot camp features branding, leadership, and team-building workshops, complemented by cultural activities and fireside chats designed to foster professional growth and personal connections.
