VinaCapital Ventures, the technology investment arm of VinaCapital Group with operations in Vietnam, announced that it has acquired a share in M3TA, a Web3 data analytics firm that aims to harness the power of data for the benefit of Web3 enterprises.
The investment’s specifics were not made public.
Hoang Duc Trung, Partner at VinaCapital Ventures, said in a statement that “with dynamic and high-quality data, it is possible to optimize, personalize, and develop methods that are especially suited for different gaming communities and metaverse residents. Although blockchain gaming’s quick uptake created a data bonanza, use cases for data analytics go far beyond this industry.”
“As other industries such as real estate, wealth (digital asset) management, sports, and entertainment explore the uncharted territory of blockchain and seek to understand its ever-expanding implications on consumer behavior, technological solutions like those that M3TA offers will be the determining factor of a business’s success in their endeavors in the metaverse,” Trung added.
The goal of M3TA is to give Web3 enterprises the power to fully comprehend their customers.
The company wants to create a data platform that enhances both the gaming experience for players and the utility of assets through personalized and predictive learning. As M3TA works to now better not only the blockchain gaming industry but also all of Web3 through their Data Analytics Platform, this solution has matured over the previous five months.
The company also wants to use technology to help people better understand the metaverse, where McKinsey estimates that by 2030, “Businesses’ and consumers’ annual global spending related to the metaverse could reach $5 trillion,” with e-commerce spending making up between $2 trillion and $2.6 trillion of that total and virtual advertising accounting for between $144 billion and $206 billion.
Daniel Nguyen, the company’s founder and chief executive officer, founded it in 2021. He has experience in omnichannel marketing automation, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence and has a background in international consulting.
