Dable, Asia’s No.1 content discovery platform, has announced a partnership with Ripple Media, the digital media, broadcast, and e-commerce subsidiary of Media Prima Berhad on 14th September, 2020.

This partnership enables Dable to provide its personalized content recommendation solution for the websites managed by Ripple Media. The Dable content recommendation widget embedded onto the Flyfm, Hotfm, Koolfm and Onefm websites will help increase article consumption and grow their page views over time.

This partnership also enables Ripple Media to monetize the traffic on their websites with Dable’s Native Ads. The Native Ads are nestled between content blocks and are served based on the reader’s reading behavior. So if a reader is very interested in Kpop news, he/she would be served K-beauty advertisements. “We are excited to work with Dable to provide more customized contents to our listeners, encouraging them to spend more time on our sites, “ said Alex Poon, General Manager, Tech & Shared Services of Ripple. “Dable also allows us to add on more data to gain a deeper understanding of our listeners’ interests.”

“Ripple Media is a highly respected media house and reaches millions of people via their radio and websites. Dable’s AI-powered personalization technology can help Ripple grow their audience.  I am confident that this strategic partnership will help us both achieve our goals.” said Chaehyun Lee, CEO at Dable.

Ripple Media is owned by Media Prima Berhad, the largest media conglomerate in Malaysia. They offer a wide range of content and experiences based on lifestyle and interests in Malay, English, and Chinese.

Dable is a South Korea tech start-up with world-class big data and personalization technology. It provides personalized content recommendations based on the interests and preferences of readers by analyzing their reading behavior and consumed content in real-time. Dable serves recommended content via a widget which is embedded onto the publisher’s website. By harnessing the power of machine learning Dable is able to provide better quality and more precise content recommendations which increases article consumption and dwell time.

Over the last 5 years Dable has expanded throughout Asia. Dable currently works with over 2500 media partners across Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia. The company began its service in Malaysia in 2019 and has since partnered with over 30 premium media sites such as Malaysiakini, Nanyang Siang Pau and Ripple Media.
