The growth of technology has changed how people learn and access education and this holds particularly true for languages. Language is an area of education where an explosion of interactive software and mobile apps has given a choice to a number of people previously unable to access or learn a foreign language. Squline, an Indonesian startup provides an anytime anywhere online platform to learn foreign languages.

Squline, founded in 2014 started with the launch of a Mandarin course later followed by English and Japanese courses respectively in the following years. The company in 2018 has raised a seven-digit US$ funding led by Investidea Ventures with participation from many undisclosed investors. Besides that, in 2018 it has also earned the title of the Next Dev Evangelist in a program by Telkomsel, which is a local mobile operator in Indonesia. This has helped the company to represent Indonesia in Sydney in an event, Future Makers.

The company in its official statement recently stated that it will be using these funds for supporting technology development, product expansion, and acquiring new talents in 2019. Squline is focusing on cementing its position as one of the top live language tutoring company in Indonesia.

An interactive learning experience with Squline

The aim of the company is to connect students to the world and society through language learning. Registering is simple, just sign-in then select an available teacher according to the language opted and start the session. The students can easily manage their classes anywhere anytime via mobile apps and web. Squline has partnered with many payment merchants so fee payment is hassle-free. Besides that, the support team is available for assistance.

The students are connected with the native teachers around the world so they can learn and improve upon their conversational skills. The language course offered by Squline replicates the experience you may get when you learn a language in the country of origin. All sessions are Live and one-on-one video call so that the student gets the best environment to develop oral and listening skills in an effective and efficient way. Learning materials and lesson guides are also provided to the students based on the skill level.

Squline unites society through language learning

Quality teaching from best available teachers ensures that the students succeed in language learning. The dynamic team of Squline is led by Tommy Yunus, CEO. The team believes that success is not the test scores but the ability of their students to use the language in day to day life.
