Moom Health, a Singapore-based brand specializing in women’s health supplements, has secured S$3.5 million (US$2.66 million) in a pre-Series A funding round.
The pre-Series A funding round was spearheaded by Wipro Consumer Care Ventures, the investment arm of Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting. Joining the round were HPRY Holdings—supported by Wilmar International’s co-founder and chairman Kuok Khoon Hong—along with Racer Ventures and consumer-focused investor DSG Consumer Partners.
The funding will help Moom Health expand its operations, focusing on offering health solutions tailored to the needs of Asian women. The investment has shown growing interest in women’s health and wellness products, particularly in Southeast Asia.
Established in 2021 by sisters Maya and Mili Kale, Moom Health focuses on developing supplements specifically designed for the health needs of Asian women. Since its founding, the company has steadily grown within the women’s wellness industry. Currently, Moom Health operates in Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong, with plans to broaden its presence throughout the region.
The S$3.5 million secured in the pre-Series A round will support Moom Health’s expansion across several key areas. The company intends to channel the funds into developing new products, reinforcing its supply chain, and growing its team. It also aims to widen its market reach, boost both online and offline visibility, and deepen its focus on women’s health in Asia through enhanced research and accessibility.
Kale emphasized the strategic value of the company’s investors, particularly Wipro Consumer Care Ventures, which brings extensive experience in the consumer goods industry across Asia. Kale also highlighted the expertise of the Eu family, known for their success in scaling Eu Yan Sang.
The company has already gained a loyal customer base and is focused on scaling its approach to meet the growing demand for women’s health products in the region. As the brand continues to expand, it aims further to establish itself as a leader in the wellness market.
Wipro Consumer Care Ventures has a track record of backing disruptive consumer brands and expressed strong confidence in Moom Health’s future trajectory. The partnership is expected to help Moom Health scale its operations, expand its product range, and solidify its position in the competitive women’s health space.
Deepak Chandran, Partner at Wipro Consumer Care Ventures, noted that Moom Health has shown strong product-market fit and growing consumer loyalty, with the brand experiencing rapid year-on-year growth. He shared that Wipro is excited to support Moom in scaling its business and creating a long-term impact in the women’s health sector.
