LINE Thailand has unveiled its new scale-up initiative, LINE SCALE-UP, to support promising startups across the country. The program was officially introduced at the LINE Thailand Developer Conference 2024 and is designed to help startups expand their operations by leveraging LINE’s extensive ecosystem.

The LINE SCALE UP program will provide startups with a range of tools and resources valued at up to 4 million Thai Baht (approximately US$115,000) per team. This initiative seeks to empower startups to unlock their full growth potential by collaborating with LINE and utilizing its platform for scaling their businesses.

The LINE SCALE UP program is structured around four core areas to drive startup growth and success. The first area, the LINE Platform, offers startups credits to access LINE’s user acquisition tools, including the LINE Official Account, LINE Ads, and the LINE Messaging API. Startups will also receive up to 5 million free messages per month for one year, enabling them to engage users and expand their customer base effectively.

LINE Networks provides startups with access to the company’s extensive customer and partner networks across Thailand. This strategic access opens up opportunities for businesses to grow their reach, form new partnerships, and tap into a wider market, accelerating their growth trajectory.

In addition, the program offers Consultation services, where LINE specialists will provide tailored technical and business guidance. This will help startups enhance their operational efficiency, streamline processes, and address their specific business challenges, enabling them to operate more effectively in a competitive market.

Lastly, the program offers Partnership opportunities with LINE Thailand, allowing startups to collaborate on new service developments. Select startups may also receive potential funding from LINE and its global affiliates, providing financial backing to further accelerate their growth and innovation.

The LINE SCALE UP program is now accepting applications from both Thai and international startups in the Seed to Series A stages. Eligible companies must have established products or services with a proven user base. Startups interested in scaling their operations through this program can apply now by visiting www.linescaleup.com or through the LINE Official Account: @line_scale_up.

LINE Thailand, which has been operating since 2014, manages local sales and marketing strategies while also developing new services tailored to the Thai market. With its mission of “Closing the Distance,” the company offers a comprehensive digital ecosystem, including services such as LINE SHOPPING, LINE VOOM, LINE STICKERS, LINE MELODY, LINE TODAY, and LINE PAY, among others. As of 2022, LINE Thailand boasts 56 million Monthly Active Users (MAU) in the country.
