The Indonesia-based fleet-tracking startup, TransTRACK, has successfully raised US$2.1 million in a pre-Series A funding round. The funding round was led by Ortus Star, with participation from existing investors Cocoon Capital and YCAB Ventures and new investors, including Goldbell Investment, NP Consulting, Damson Capital, and several angel investors.
TransTRACK is a technology enabler startup that focuses on digitizing fleet operations. By leveraging their innovative solutions, TransTRACK aims to streamline and optimize fleet management processes through digital platforms.
Established in 2019 by Anggia Meisesari and Aris Pujud Kurniawan, TransTrack provides comprehensive solutions for optimizing logistics companies’ operations.
Their offerings include a fleet management system, transportation management system, and truck appointment system. By leveraging these advanced technologies, TransTrack empowers logistics businesses to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve optimal resource allocation.
The infusion of funds comes at a time when TransTRACK has been experiencing substantial growth, achieving a remarkable 20 percent month-on-month expansion since its previous funding round.
The company has already established a presence in more than 34 cities, serving a diverse portfolio of over 600 clients spanning various sectors, including logistics, transportation, and government public services.
With the recent pre-Series A funding, TransTRACK is set to kickstart an expansion plan to extend its operations to over 100 cities in Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries.
This strategic move will enable TransTRACK to offer an end-to-end supply chain solution to businesses across the region, catering to the evolving needs of the industry players.
“This funding will allow us to unlock greater value in the industry and strengthen our foothold in the transportation and logistics sector as an end-to-end supply chain solution. We aim to better serve our customers by delivering comprehensive solutions that maximize their operations through fleet optimization,” Meisesari shared in a press release.
TransTRACK goes beyond its core offerings of Fleet Management System, Transportation Management, and Truck Appointment System by providing comprehensive supply chain visibility in a unified platform.
This integrated solution enhances customer interaction, fosters new revenue channels, and boosts profit margins, positioning TransTRACK as a complete logistics solution that drives operational productivity, efficiency, and overall business expansion.
The transportation and warehousing sector witnessed remarkable production growth in 2022, with a staggering increase of 19.87 percent, according to Statistics Indonesia (BPS).
The data highlights the immense business potential within the logistics industry, which is projected to reach Rp 4,000 trillion. With TransTRACK’s expansion plans and its comprehensive logistics solutions, the company is well-positioned to capitalize on this growing market and have potential growth and development of the logistics sector in Southeast Asia.
