In today’s world, every sector has become technology-driven and most companies are using the ‘online platform’ to stay in the competition. The food sector is no different; the on-demand food delivery apps are now prowling the market and are making their way up. Ordering food from your couch has become a norm and it is just a matter of time before every restaurant succumbs to selling on the food delivery platform.

Woowa Brothers, a leading South Korean food delivery startup has seen exponential growth in the industry. The company has recently secured additional investments of 320 million USD from global investors, thus making it as the “unicorn company” in this field. The company has its headquarters in Seoul, Seoul Teugbyeolsi and is presided by Bong Jin Kim.

Woowa Brother’s food delivery service, “Baedal Minjok”, was launched in 2010 and since its inception, the company has won large investments from companies such as Goldman Sachs, Hillhouse Capital, and Naver. Woowa Brothers plan to use this for global expansion and new businesses such as developing autonomous robots.
