Fashion That Fits All – High Street Essentials

Statistical data shows that more people are embracing online shopping owing to the convenience associated with it. The customers are increasingly becoming aware of the fact that the products available on online stores are same as they see at a physical retail shop and hence are happy to order online as it saves a lot of time for them. High Street Essentials; an Indian startup is one such online fashion store that offers an amazing online shopping experience.

This online fashion store dedicated to women clothing and fashion was founded by Tanvi Malik and Shivani Poddar in 2012. Since its launch, the company has raised handsome funding led by India Quotient 2016.  The parent company, FabAlley continues to cater to the western apparels market, however, Shivani and Tanvi’s second brand Indya includes contemporary Indian wear with distinctive and modern Indo-western elements in women clothing. Together both the brands retail via both offline and online channels.

High Street Essentials (HSE) has seen 2018 as a profitable year with Rs80 crore as gross sales. According to both Shivani and Tanvi, the FY19 will close at almost double that figure considering the growing popularity of the store. FabAlley has recently received a whopping $8.54 M from SAIF partners and Managing Director of SAIF Partners, Mukul Arora will be joining the HSE’s board.

Empowering young women with HSE’s clothing line

The parent company, FabAlley is a fashion-forward brand that aims at arming young women with fashion clothing as an extension of their personalities. The clothing line is designed in such a way it is a perfect amalgamation of what customer wants and global influences.

Whether you are looking for trendiest tops, skirts, jackets, hot dresses, shoes, accessories, bags and fashion jewelry, the store has something to offer to everyone. The price tags are affordable and the products are designed in house by a super-talented team of designers. The designs are made keeping in mind the millennial multi-tasking women of today.

The company’s design philosophy is based on empowering expressing oneself and hence there is something for everyone. Both Tanvi and Shivani have a passion for designing women clothing made them quit their corporate jobs and start this venture which has become one of India’s leading online-led fashion brands.

Breaking Trends With HSE

The company is looking forward to capturing both offline and online growth opportunities by leveraging on their channel-agnostic approach. They plan to add virtual fitting rooms and offer ‘phygital’ store experience to the customer.
