The property management company and co-living start-up Bespoke Habitat raised S$1 million in an angel investment round.

The fresh funding will further accelerate the company’s aim of building the future of shared spaces for working professionals, according to the announcement.

Bespoke Habitat will be able to grow its network to 350 units in Singapore, develop new services, and improve the staying experience thanks to the funds.

Bespoke Habitat, which opened in 2019, provides livable environments where people can live, work, and play in the most convenient locations in Singapore, including Tiong Bahru, Queenstown, Tanah Merah, and Jurong West.

Ernee Ong, Co-Founder of Bespoke Habitat, said during the pandemic, the short-term rental market exploded, making co-living a perfect place to live.

“A section of working professionals who have adopted a hybrid work approach will prefer to stay in co-living spaces rather than apartments or hotels to connect with like-minded people,” One said in a statement.

To create a high-quality and completely functioning environment for people to live, work and play in the most accessible and convenient locations in Singapore, Bespoke Habitat was founded with this aim in mind.

If you want a sense of community without compromising personal space, Bespoke Habitat optimizes space to promote authentic living for busy working professionals. A three-bedroom condominium apartment can now accommodate a suitable living area for a maximum occupancy of six residents by making the most of its available space.

Ong added that their aim is to use technology to create living spaces that support the lifestyle of the young and single-demographic household from Singaporeans to expatriates, further enabling a high level of comfort and convenience.

By extending its services to a suite of co-living operators, Bespoke Habitat hopes to become a full end-to-end solutions provider, a first in the Singapore market. Bespoke Habitat wants to scale its solutions and focus on providing unique components that will appeal to the convenience of today’s working professionals by allowing specialized services such as logistics, cleaning, moving out services, and in-house handyman without the need to outsource.
