Spacely AI, a generative AI startup based in Bangkok, has raised US$1 million in seed funding to advance its 2D-to-3D automation engine for the architecture and interior design sectors. The company aims to simplify and accelerate the design process by transforming basic floor plans into detailed 3D visuals using artificial intelligence.
The seed round was spearheaded by PropTech Farm Fund III, with participation from prominent investors such as Wannaporn Phornprapha of P Landscape, Ted Poshakrishna Thirapatana, founder of UTC Holdings, and Mek Srunyu Stittri, former VP of Engineering at GitLab. This follows a previous pre-seed investment by SCB 10X.
The newly raised capital will be used to roll out Spacely AI’s advanced 2D-to-3D automation engine, designed to cut down manual concept work by as much as 80%. The company says this innovation will simplify the design process, helping professionals save time and reduce costs.
Spacely AI also plans to utilize the capital to enter the U.S. market and expand its global presence through new sales and co-marketing partnerships. The company views these efforts as essential to meeting growing international demand for AI-driven design tools.
The startup’s flagship product is a cloud-based platform that offers AI rendering for interior and exterior spaces, image-editing tools, AI-powered virtual staging, and automatic 3D model creation. Currently integrated with SketchUp, Spacely AI is working on adding compatibility with other major CAD tools to fit seamlessly into existing workflows.
CEO Paruey Anadirekkul said the industry is rapidly adopting AI, and design firms must move quickly to keep up. “Success now depends on how quickly you adapt—especially as clients are already experimenting with these tools,” he noted, adding that Spacely AI is focused on helping professionals win more projects, boost creativity, and reduce repetitive tasks.
Investors see strong potential in the company’s offering. “Design speed now determines deal speed,” said Fredrik Bergman, CEO of PropTech Farm. “Spacely AI’s instant visualization helps convert interest into commitment before construction even begins.” Wannaporn Phornprapha echoed this view, emphasizing how the technology addresses inefficiencies in traditional design workflows.
Over the past year, Spacely AI has recorded a tenfold increase in revenue, a strong demand for its AI-powered design tools. The company attributes this growth to rising interest in automation within the architecture and real estate sectors.
To date, Spacely AI has supported over 1,500 architecture and interior design firms across more than 50 countries, generating over two million unique renders through its platform.
