I would start reading before. Everything is already written in books, blog posts, or podcasts. We have to find the courage to embrace the new.

Read on to know more about Antonio Gison and his journey.

Please tell me about your personal background, and what are you working on currently?

Antonio Gison: I started working at the age of 8. I used to secretly pick up apples from my grandpa threes and go to the local street market to sell them, after I did any job I always been curious about anything since I had my first computer at the age of 12/13. There I started my website, then I’ve been a freelance developer, but I never stopped to learn different things. On my path, I met the founder of a non-profit startup accelerator, and I started to be curious and interested in the startup environment. I was buzzing around till I became a startup advisor, and one year later, I decided to open my own consulting firm Gison.

How have you attracted users and grown your product from the start till now?

Antonio Gison: We are solving the problem for real. The startup world or entrepreneur environment is not something that you learn at the school or online. Have you ever tried to learn the violin online? It is so hard! With a teacher, it is x10 time easier and faster. We do the same. We’re not a book. We’re here for a startup who wants tangible help from experts.

What’s your business model, and how have you grown your revenue? What strategy worked best?

Antonio Gison: The business model of a consultancy is bonded to the reputation we just started, and we count a few customers already happy for the services provided. The business model is simple. If you need help running Facebook ads, we’ll run for you under the supervision of marketers who worked for Facebook. If you need help with raising money, we have internals who raised USD 500K in pre-seed. If you need help with UX, our UX designers come from the official Apple Academy.

What are some marketing tips to help maximize the success of a product launch?

Antonio Gison: Be honest with yourself and build something that you would buy.

What’s the hardest thing about product launches? And What is a good product launch checklist to be well prepared?

Antonio Gison: The hardest thing would be to find the right audience and hope the cost of acquisition is not so costly.

How do you plan to expand globally?

Antonio Gison: I’m glad to have friends all around the world and happy to follow my vision.

What are the most common mistakes companies make with global marketing?

Antonio Gison: They don’t consider the local culture of doing business and live life.

How do you handle this COVID-19 outbreak situation for your company’s survival in the future?

Antonio Gison: We’re using this time to get more explosive when the market is open for business.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? And What advice do you have for someone who is interested in doing similar things like yours or in a similar direction?

Antonio Gison: Focus on what matters to achieve to goal

What are the one or two things that you would do differently if you could go back to 10 years ago?

Antonio Gison: I would start reading before. Everything is already written in books, blog posts, or podcasts. We have to find the courage to embrace the new.

We are really happy to be able to impact your life positively.
