In light of the increasing forest fires in the U.S., Alchera has formed a strategic alliance with PG&E, a western-based power conglomerate, offering “Fire Scout,” a state-of-the-art forest fire monitoring system. Furthermore, Alchera’s advanced AI solutions are also being employed by the Santa Clara County Fire Safety Council (SCCFSC).

Q. Tell us about Alchera’s inception and its core offerings.

Alchera stands as a pioneer in facial recognition AI solutions. While the AI landscape is vast, facial recognition is undeniably one of the most advanced areas. It holds the power to differentiate genuine individuals from manipulated images and analyze behavioral nuances, which, in turn, ensures enhanced safety protocols.

Q. What distinguishes Alchera from its competitors?

At Alchera, technology is our stronghold. Our AI solutions overshadow others in terms of accuracy and efficiency. The trust our clients place in our solutions stems from our unwavering commitment to quality. We’ve harnessed the expertise of a 200-strong independent data team to continually refine our AI capabilities.

Our agility to swiftly ideate, develop, and perfect AI solutions is what sets us apart. In 2019, we made our foray into the U.S. market with our facial recognition solution. At that juncture, the U.S. was grappling with forest fires leading to power disruptions and water scarcity. Given our concurrent development of a forest fire monitoring system in Korea, we showcased our solution to American VC firms and received an overwhelmingly positive response. Fast forward to today, our focus is on crafting AI solutions attuned to global needs, extending beyond forest fires to indoor fire monitoring. Our vision is clear: to establish Alchera’s AI solutions as the go-to choice worldwide, especially in environmental and security domains, targeting markets in the US, Australia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

Q. What’s the ultimate ambition for Alchera?

We envision a world where Alchera’s AI is ubiquitous. A world where people ponder, “How did we manage without Alchera’s AI?” Our tech is already at play at Incheon Airport facilities, meaning every traveler indirectly interacts with our solution. We yearn for such global omnipresence.

Q. As a seasoned entrepreneur, any words of wisdom for budding businesspersons?

Embrace challenges fearlessly. Stumbles and falls are inevitable, but they’re also integral to growth. The euphoria of summiting a mountain isn’t just about the peak; it’s about the journey, the obstacles overcome. Relish in solving problems; they’re the milestones to success.
