Presight, a big data analytics company utilizing Generative AI, has introduced the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator during Expand North Star, the world’s largest startup event taking place in Dubai.
This program is tailored for artificial intelligence startups, providing essential expertise, technological resources, and networking opportunities to selected early-stage ventures across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Southeast Asia, and Central Asia.
The accelerator aims to enhance the growth of companies with market-ready prototypes by utilizing both Presight’s infrastructure and the broader G42 ecosystem. This initiative will help startups connect with institutional customers and partners, supporting an environment conducive to innovation and advancement in the AI sector.
The Presight AI-Startup Accelerator is specifically designed for early-stage AI companies from the MENA region, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia that have developed a prototype and are poised to enter the market and scale their sales efforts.
Following a rigorous selection process, chosen startups will participate in a three-month program offering world-class infrastructure support, including high-performance computing, cloud services, and access to advanced data security measures, foundational language models (LLMs), and algorithms.
In addition to technical resources, the accelerator provides crucial mentorship and access to the AI industry. Participants will benefit from a hub-type environment, encouraging interaction with other startups within the expansive G42 ecosystem. It is expected to assist in go-to-market strategies, scaling operations, founder training, and integrating with Presight’s product offerings, creating valuable cross-selling and networking opportunities.
As the UAE emerges as a global AI hub, the demand for AI accelerators and startup funding continues to rise, attracting international startups and nurturing homegrown talent.
Presight’s accelerator is entering a thriving market, benefiting from its affiliation with the G42 Group, which enhances its resources and prestige.
Graduates of the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator are expected to emerge as established companies with operational products, validated market fit, and proven customer value. By refining their business models and preparing for scaling, these startups will be well-equipped to explore new markets and further their growth in the competitive AI landscape.
Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, emphasized the importance of creating a strong ecosystem of innovative companies that leverage AI, big data, and analytics to unlock new business models. He stated, “The Presight AI-Startup Accelerator program will identify the most promising businesses from various international markets and offer them essential expertise, mentoring, customer engagement, and technical knowledge to accelerate their growth. It will foster a strong community of founders connected to Presight and G42, and I’m eager to witness its progress.”
Dr. Adel Al Sharji, Presight’s COO, highlighted the company’s commitment to driving digital transformation through AI. He noted, “This program was established to empower organizations and individuals by speeding up their progress and positioning them for success in the digital age.”
With revenue of AED 1.78 billion ($485 million) in 2023, Presight is well-equipped to validate AI concepts and prototypes. This unique position increases the likelihood that the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator will cultivate successful AI startups, benefiting investors, the broader AI ecosystem, and the local economy.
