MedTech Innovator, the world’s largest accelerator of medical technology companies, announced today the selection of 20 MedTech companies to participate in its fifth annual Asia Pacific Accelerator program. The program supports and advances startups in the medtech industry, providing them with resources and mentorship to help them succeed.
These 20 companies were chosen based on their approaches and potential to make an impact in the healthcare sector. The Asia Pacific Accelerator program is designed to support growth and development, offering participants access to a network of industry experts and opportunities for collaboration.
“We are delighted to announce this year’s Asia Pacific cohort of companies, representing ten countries and a broad range of technologies and cutting-edge innovations,” said Fredrik Nyberg, Managing Director, MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific.
“We look forward to working with our partners to support this year’s cohort and to help them advance their technologies and transform the lives of patients not only in the region but potentially worldwide.”
MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific brings together top-tier startups with investors, business leaders, and allied service professionals in the MedTech industry to drive the commercialization of life-changing technologies. The 2024 cohort companies will also compete for up to US$300,000 in cash prizes and awards, providing incentives for innovation and development in the healthcare sector.
More than 400 companies applied for the Asia Pacific program this year, and after a rigorous selection process, 60 were invited to pitch. Ultimately, 20 companies were selected for the 2024 cohort. These startups will participate in the program’s kickoff event, joining the MedTech Innovator 2024 and BioTools Cohorts at the invitation-only Innovator Summit 2024 on June 12-13 in San Francisco. The summit will connect the new cohort’s leadership teams with MedTech Innovator’s partners, alumni, and other industry leaders.
The 20 companies selected for the 2024 MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific Accelerator include Alfaleus Technology, Niramai Health Analytix, Padmaseetha Technologies, and RNT Health Insights from India, as well as APrevent and CancerFree Biotech from Taiwan. Other participants are ArmasTec and Qritive from Singapore, Ausmed Global and Endovision from Hong Kong, and Gyder Surgical and Progressive NEURO from the United States. The cohort also features Hada MedTech and KA Imaging from Canada, INOPASE and Nanotis from Japan, InterMag and Promedius from South Korea, Sydney Heart Valve from Australia, and Vinbrain Joint Stock Company from Vietnam.
